This is the only place in Cambridge that I have had a close call with a truck: its right side rear view mirror. I felt the wind from the mirror in its passing within inches of my helmet. It was going over 30 MPH and accelerated in the curve ahead of me.

We have also noted this issue. Unfortunately, the bridge (starting at the transverse line just beyond the bike lane arrow in your photo) cannot be drilled into. However, we can look at adding a few posts on the curve just before the bridge deck. This work would likely take place when we install posts on the new Mt Auburn section of bike lane between Aberdeen and Homer.

Could you use adhesive to install the posts, similar to what has been done on the Mass Ave bridge or Longfellow?
